Review - Rajannnnn

'Face of Fear' is a horror trailer which we produced. The plot is quite conventional of a horror film as it features a male villian who seeks to murder a group of teenagers. The majority of the film is violent and contains some graphic scenes. This would appeal to those who enjoy the horror genre.

As the filming for of our production began, our group had immediatly had fallen out. This then lead to a number of arguements over the next few weeks and eventually, we had decided to go our seperate ways and make different productions. Fortunately, we somehow put everything behind us and continued with the same production. Filming was very stressful especially as it was being done during winter at night. Transporting everyone to and from my house was also an issue sometimes. As our production featured alot of stunts and action, it was very tiring and as we would film very late, we would be exausted in school the next day!

Editing started out quite well - untill a full days work got deleted! That just took the p*ss! We then had to re do all of that, however in the end we came out with an outstanding production, especially as the majority of people doubted that it would be a success as it is a horror trailer - and in the past they have not been very successfull, it felt nice to prove everyone wrong! :D

After all of the problems which had occured with our group, we came out even stronger and most importantly, we came out successful!

“Face of Fear” is a horror trailer we produced about a group of friends who get lost in the middle of nowhere which is a typical horror convention. A psychotic man is after the group which then leads to the film involving a lot of violence and action. This would appeal to the audience who enjoy watching horror films and would aim to entertain them.

Whilst filming and producing this trailer we had a lot of fun as well as tense moments. On the first day of filming at Rajan’s house we got into an argument where we then decided to produce our own productions. However, we eventually laughed it off and were reunited as a group again =] We had a lot of fun when filming but got really cold because our filming was taking place in Rajan’s garden and it was cold then. Also when filming some members who were involved in our trailer were not available on certain days which then caused more problems. However, this made our group stronger and also helped us sort out our problems in a convenient way. Filming and the editing process was very stressful and also took a lot of time to do but we were one of the groups who got our editing done earlier which made up for us coming in to edit in the holidays. Overall, producing the trailer was enjoyable, fun and after all the arguments and laughter we have finally completed a successful production!

Review - Simmren

‘Face of Fear’ follows the story of six friends who find themselves lost in the middle of nowhere. They then run into a psychotic man that tries to kill the group of friends, he succeeds but one member of the group manages to survive. It is a film filled with a lot of action and violence and allows the audience to get away from their own life and put themselves into the shoes of the main character. This film is highly recommended to people that find the horror genre appealing.

The process of the production was very long and stressful, even though Rajan was convinced that we would get all the filming done in one day. The first day of filming was a flop as we then realised the battery from the torch was not working so we all just decided to go home instead. The next few days we got a lot of footage however there was a big misunderstanding which lead to a huge fight where we felt breaking up the group would be the only resolution. However in the end through all the laughter the pain the fun and the arguments, we have come together as a stronger group with an excellent production!

Hello!! well yeeahh weve nearlly finishedd editing and were soo happy and proud of our production!! everything goes so well together and we would like to thank Mr Babu and the mentors for helping us out :)

We probably come in for one day in the holidays and just check our production to see if anything is missing. We got the credit block done on friday and we might also look at different effects if they are needed. We are glad we dont have to come in much in the holidays :)

Filming Final Day!

Hello hello!! well basicali me and simmren went filmin nearr jubilee park last week monday. It was an owkaish weather lool :$ and we got alot of different shots that we were told to do such as close ups on our faces. Long shots of us running and extreme close ups of my eye and also point of view shots!

However, we were having problems with the lighting and wernt able to film because it was too dark but in the end we got my dad to use his car headlights in order for us to film! soo it all worked out in the endd!! Soo ii would like too thank ma dadd :) He kinda told me to do so aswel haha!:$

Anywhoo that was our FINAL filming dayy and we was so glad ish finally over!! :) I shall be offf now!! tooodlezz!!

Editing

Hello hello helloo..fort might aswell write some stuff on here because i havent been doing lately, well anywhoo were quite ahead in editing sorted out where each clip is going to be and used dip to blacks on them. It looks wiked and its all going well ..but today we didnt really have much to do, we need to do more filming like a few more scenes and then it wil be done sooner or later, jjust need to sort out the effects and add titles then will finally be done :) feel proud and yeah having fun aswell :) and yeah the media mentors are good aswell and have also given us good advice :D
